I was using auto_subshares=true until the semi-correction (unique ID) of the subfolders was discovered. At that point, I switched to hack83=true. So for the last 2 or so months, I've been using hack83 because it apparently functions as well as auto_subshares, and additionally provides a much cleaner looking NPL.
Should I encounter a problem with hack83, I won't find it much of a problem to revert back to auto_subshares.
