I assume you're able to access the pyTivo shares from your TiVo(s)? If not, I'd think it was a firewall issue. But if you can access it from your TiVos, and not from your other computer, I don't know... are you sure you have the right IP? _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
Where the <ip address> is the pyTivo boxes IP address.
Also, the current Windows installer configures the Windows firewall to only allow connections on port 9032 from your local subnet. If for some reason you have multiple subnets on your network, you may need to change the Scope of the Windows firewall exception.
Ok, now that I know its possible I can figure it out. there are several issues it could be. The laptop from which I was trying to access the pyTivo web config page is my work laptop (on my home network) so there could be all sorts of problems. Thanks for the feedback.
