I transferred some raw video from my camcorder to the Tivo with pyTivo, and it "smooshes" it a bit. My guess is that the raw video has rectangular pixels. What do I do to get ffmpeg to handle this properly?
I used a trial version of Divx Converter on the same video, and then transfered that the Tivo with pyTivo, and it isn't smooshed, but it doesn't use all of the screen, I'm guessing because the Divx file has an unusual resolution. (Something like 652x480 - a bit wider than 640x480.)
If this is something I need to handle outside of pyTivo I'm okay with that, but I forget where I saw stuff about rectangular pixels, and searching the thread on TCF is becoming really difficult.
