I followed the directions for installing pyTivo and upgrading to the latest version. Almost everything is working well. Thank you for making such a fine open source product.
Unfortunately, a small subset of files appears to halt the Tivo in mid play and force a reboot. It doesn't repeat in the same frame of video but it appears to happen in the same files. I'm looking to fix the problem if possible, but I don't know what files or information you need to help me. I have tried the videos in VLC and they appear to play fine. Using desktop codec manager, which displays the most recent problem file as using ffdshow as audio and video decoder.
I don't have general Tivo rebooting problems. I have an external expansion drive (tivo branded). I can browse the pytivo server's hosted files without seeing a problem. Many other videos are playing just fine.
