I'd quite like to see something to integrate XBMC with pytivo too. Rather it's a webserver module within xbmc or some slightly customized version of pytivo setup with easy to understand options to put together a method to do a Send-To sort of method for sending links to the tivo or to an xml file of sorts for use in pytivo.
I've been doing several 3rd party xbmc addons myself of late, and would love to find some examples of how to setup the webvideo plugin for pytivo and see just how it works. Might even try converting a couple-few addons for use with pytivo if I can get a basic understanding of the syntax to use for things. Am currently sick and fighting with this cold windy weather, so might not happen very quick. I'm not sure if or how well tivo/pytivo can handle streams for live channels or rtmp or things such as jtv live channels, but figure it would sure be nice to have use of a plugin that could handle anime and one that could do movies/tvshows to catch stuff from other regions.

The webvideo plugin is designed to take the place of TiVo Desktop for the "computer-assisted" TiVoCasts -- the ones at the bottom of the list, with the PC icons, where the vodcats are pulled to the computer, transcoded, and then pushed to the TiVo. But TiVo has dropped the VOD app from Series 4 and 5, and I don't think they've maintained it in quite a while. So, this whole plugin is verging on obsolescence.
Potentially more useful could be a plugin that just parsed RSS feeds. _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
