I'm using pytivo 2008.05.02 on Server 2008 as a service. I just enabled the photos plugin and it's showing up on my TiVo and I can view my pics.
I have my photos organized in folders named by date, then a subfolder under for that for the outtakes from that date. Like this:
e:\photos <- this is where all my photos are
e:\photos\2008-05-02 <- this is for "good" photos taken on 5/2/2008
e:\photos\2008-05-02\outtakes <- this is for the "reject" photos from that date. I keep them because my SO may have a different idea of what a "good" photo is
When I go to one of my date folders I see the "good" photos and the "outtakes" subfolder. Unfortunately when I run a slideshow from that folder it includes all the photos in outtakes folder as well. I'd prefer not to have that.
This is my pytivo.conf file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\pyTivo>type pyTivo.conf
type = admin

Ignore my earlier reply... actually, all you have to do is select any picture, go to "Play slide show", select "Options", and set "Include subfolders" to "No". Note that the setting tends to revert on its own (perhaps after a reboot). _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
