ffmpeg changed some important syntax with version 2.0, I think. They may have changed it further with the version I'm currently running (2.2.1).
The other night ffmpeg puked with the following error:
Please use -b:a or -b:v, -b is ambiguous
I'm a bit confused why I haven't run into this before, since my ffmpeg is from April 2014.
I've modified transcode.py to support the new syntax; i converted the flags to variables and set them at the top of the file.
It would be better to have it configurable in pytivo.conf, or better yet, auto-detect the ffmpeg version and choose the right syntax. I guess it'd be better yet to convert all the ffmpeg flags to variables, and support the new syntax fully. a few things off the top of my head:
