The utils.c patch that fixes your issue is pretty simple. It just changes two instances of ">=" test to ">". I think it should apply against the latest trunk, but if not it should be simple enough to see what changes to make based on just looking at the patch diff.
The libfaad.c patch modifies code that I don't think has been touched for ages (since the active work is done with the native aac decoder) so it should apply to trunk.
The aac.c patch is probably out of date since it's actively being worked on, but since the compile options I use turn it off completely in favor of libfaad, I haven't tried to maintain it. It might not even be necessary with the code in trunk.
