Okay, so I just tried to redo the transfer (got same result as always) and tried to attach the log file for the action. If this is not what you are looking for let me know and I will try to get what you actually asked for. Thanks so much.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that. You need to upgrade your pyTivo to a version that will recognize the Premiere as an HD unit.
Not that that explains why it doesn't transfer -- I'd expect it to transfer, just to be unnecessarily transcoded in the process -- but it should fix the problem. _________________ My pyTivo fork . My page
Thank you again. I downloaded your latest version of pytivo and associated files. Is there a particular file I should be updating or am I better off just removing the program altogether and reinstalling it with newer version?
