I don't know if this is a bug or not. I really like the metadata capability for PyTivo, however it has changed how the files are displayed on the Tivo prior to them being transferred. With metadata on a TV series show, I've lost the utilitarian approach to series data that I was accustomed which showed the SxxEyy data from the file name. Pictures are simpler than words, so here's some snapshots (I could not find an upload file option which I thought this forum supported):
To get back to my utilitarian display, I changed the video.title to video.name in plugins\video\templates\container.tmpl

Well, metadata is supposed to make the shows look more like the way tivo shows episodes of series in folders.
It doesn't show season/episode numbers in the titles either, so that is how the meta pytivo stuff works.
Well it is good or bad, they are trying to make the data from pytivo look just like tivo would display their folders and they pretty much accomplished it with metadata. You way leaves ts as it was originally, true?
You could ask mastercephus with his metagenerator to put the season stuff in the titles as a feature. The problem is, it is put in so many ways like:
And many more variations.
I guess you could ask him to leave you a place to enter it in as you make metafiles.
