Is there a way to use aliases or links to consolidate multiple shares into a single NPL entry?
Say I have three shares on separate volumes:
TV Series: /Volumes/Series
Home Movies: /Volumes/HomeMovies
Is there a way to set up a single share such that there is one NPL entry and going into it would reveal Movies. TV Series and Home Movies?
pyTiVo seems not to resolve aliases or hard links in the shares. I've tried putting a link to /Volumes/Series into the /Volumes Movies share but the link is not resolved.
How can I create a hierarchy of content from different volumes into a single NPL entry?
FYI, there is a windows 7 trick you can use to do this, it requires the following
1. 64bit version of windows
2. Each volume must be an actual separate physical hard drive
3. Each must be formatted NTFS
4. And each volume will NOT have a drive letter assigned to it.
5. Each volume/hard drive will only be able to be a accessed from the "parent" volume as a folder
If this interests u PM and I will give you the process.
