Win Vista Home Premium SP2
TiVo S2 w/ current software version (can't get to it right now)
Currently running wmcbrine-2009.03.19-RC1
Trying to install wmcbrine-pytivo-27d8b0f
Using W7 Activator I cannot write the new files from wmcbrine-pytivo-27d8b0f directly to the existing pyTivo directory, as the instructions state. It unpacks to the default wmcbrine...directory. Probably a user error. So I unpack to the default directory then copy and paste to Program Files/pyTivo, then follow the rest of the instructions. After overwriting I cannot use the Admin Web utility. Yesterday the web page opened but it was blank. Today, after I uninstalled/ reinstalled 2009.03.19-RCI and tried to overwrite again the Admin Web link gave an error about the target file not being found and directing to edit the URLs Internet Properties.

I renamed the original pyTivo folder to pyTivoOLD, created a new folder named pyTivo then simply started copying over files from the unpacked wmcbrine folder to the new folder. I only copied old files which did not exist in the new pyTivo folder. It has worked for the most part...
The web console works but when it opens the only hyperlink is Web Configuration. ToGo and my two folders are gone.
I checked all the files again to make sure I copied all files from pyTivoOLD to pyTivo. Don't readily see that I missed anything.
What's happened? And how do I fix it?
Also, are there parameters for the username and password? I did not set them on install but understand they are needed for some features.
EDIT: got ToGo to appear by setting the path. Can't figure out what I'm missing to have the shares show? And Push but I know I need the username/ password set for it to function.
EDIT: Was able to answer my own question on username/ password and now my two shares appear in the Admn console. Albeit they are under the Push feature whereas before, in previous version of wmcbrine, they were under no header. Now opening a new thread on a Push issue.
