I've read all the FAQ, Wikis, Schmikis and everything.

I'm on Windows 7
Premiere 500BG (New this week)
Got Python going--I can get a command prompt
Downloaded wmcbrine and put it in C:\pyTivo
Created /bin and put ffmpeg.exe and tivodecode stuff in there
Edited the .conf file for path to ffmpeg and video dir
I have path=d:\television but I don't know what that's supposed to be

When I try to run it either by itself or through Python, it brings up a cmd window that says ERROR and then disappears so fast I can't tell if it said anything else.

Sorry this is so basic, but I can't find an answer. I tried really really hard. Where do I go from here?

When I try to run within Python I get:
File: "<stdin>", line 1
c:\pyTivo\pyTivo.py
^
Syntax Error: Invalid Syntax

As often happens, I kept at it and got it to work, as far as I know. I needed to install it as a service and also downgrade Python.
