I convert videos using videoredo and sometimes the videos I convert only have one audio (listed as 0x81). It seems if the audio is 0x80 the video has no problems with audio when transferred. However, when the video is only 0x81 and there are no other options in the stream there won't be any audio when transferred. I know I can change the "global server settings" but I don't want every video to select 0x81. Any suggestions?
I've used mpegstreamclip and I've noticed two things that make it undesirable. First off, it's much slower than say videoredo. Second of all (and most important) is that the quality isn't as good. Sometimes the video "skips" after conversion.
And sometimes the video skips after processing it with VideoRedo. I doubt any application will handle every audio/video imperfection perfectly. There is no loss of quality with Mpeg Streamclip and the speed difference is negligible. Try disabling video preview on export. All one can do is try to use the best software for the task at hand. In this case, VideoRedo did not fix your audio reference, but Mpeg Streamclip can. _________________ Download pyTivo my pyTivo branch
